Welcome to DaYou (搭友). This agreement is between you and Guangzhou Junying International Culture Communication Co., Ltd. ("ThatsLab", "we") and covers your use of the DaYou app, our WeChat Mini Program and related services. Please read it carefully, especially the parts that limit our liability. By tapping "Agree" or using the service you confirm that you have read and accept this agreement and the Privacy policy.
1. What the service is
DaYou is a community platform that connects people who want to gather around a topic. Hosts publish events at restaurants and bars ("tables") and guests book and attend. We provide discovery, booking, 搭友 matching, chat and content sharing. We are not a restaurant, and we are not the organiser or a participant of any table; tables are run by hosts and partner venues.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be 18 or over with full legal capacity. Children under 14 may not register or use the service.
- Give true and accurate information and sign in with a phone code or WeChat. To attend or host you must complete identity verification.
- Keep your account safe; do not transfer, lend or sell it. You are responsible for loss caused by your failure to keep it safe. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
- You can close your account any time in Me → Settings → Delete account. After deletion your personal information is anonymised and your upcoming bookings are cancelled.
3. Bookings, payment and refunds
- When you book a table you pay the price and time shown on the page, and your seat is confirmed once payment succeeds. A seat may be held briefly first and is released if you do not pay in time.
- Payment is completed with third parties such as WeChat Pay, Alipay or Airwallex, and their own terms apply.
- If you cancel within the window shown on the page, or the host cancels, we refund as shown on the page; by default a refund can go back to your DaYou credit or the original payment method. The exact window and amount are those shown when you book.
- Vouchers and credits can be used only in DaYou, cannot be cashed out or transferred, and may have expiry dates and conditions. We may take back benefits obtained through breach or fraud.
4. Host standards
- To host you must pass identity verification and platform review. Hosts must describe the topic, time, place and price truthfully, run the table as promised and look after guests.
- Hosts must not use tables for pyramid schemes, gambling, illegal fundraising, or promoting unrelated goods or services, nor collect money beyond what the venue specifies.
- We may restrict hosting for those who cancel or change tables repeatedly without good reason.
5. Community guidelines
We want this to be a friendly, fun and safe place. You must not:
- post or spread content that is unlawful, including content that endangers national security, or is obscene, violent, about gambling, rumours, or infringes others' reputation, privacy or intellectual property;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse others, or photograph or share others' images or information without consent;
- impersonate others, invent identities or submit false verification material;
- use cheats, scrapers or scripts to interfere with the service, or try to access systems without authorisation;
- use the platform for fraud, solicitation, recruiting people into groups or other commercial activity unrelated to tables;
- drink to excess at a table or endanger yourself or others.
You can report and block other members. For accounts and content that breach this agreement we may remove content, warn, restrict features, suspend or end the account, and report to the authorities where necessary.
6. Your content
You keep the rights in the photos, reviews, moments and other content you post ("your content") and promise you have the right to post it and that it does not infringe others' rights. You grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, store, display, copy and promote it to run and promote DaYou and the related venues and tables (our servers are in China, and content is shown or provided only as needed to run the service and consistent with the Privacy policy). The licence ends when the content is deleted or your account is closed, except for copies already reasonably shared.
7. Intellectual property
The DaYou name, logos, interface, software and related content belong to us or their owners. Without permission you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or use them commercially.
8. Disclaimers and limits of liability
- Offline events carry inherent risk. You are responsible for your own safety and property: meet people sensibly, drink in moderation and mind allergens and dietary needs.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the acts of hosts, venues or other members, or for loss caused by force majeure or failure of third-party services, except where the law provides otherwise or where the loss is caused by our intent or gross negligence.
- Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Changes and termination
We may update this agreement from time to time and will tell you in the app. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it; if you do not, stop using the service and you can close your account. We may suspend or end the service if you breach this agreement.
10. Governing law and disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan). Disputes should first be settled by friendly consultation; failing that, they go to the court with jurisdiction in Guangzhou.
