Verify your identity
You need to complete ID verification before you can apply to host. It takes about 60 seconds; AlibabaCloud runs the check and DaYou only receives the result.

Pick a restaurant
Find a partner restaurant in your city.

Pick a day and a slot
The calendar marks days with open slots in the next 8 weeks. Choose a time.

Add your topic
Write the topic in Chinese, English or both, add an optional description and pick the kind of table.

Submit for review
Once approved it goes live and guests can book. If it isn't, you'll see the reason and can revise and resubmit.

Bring an opening question
Ask the first question yourself and there's no awkward silence.
Say the language
Chinese, English or bilingual: let guests know before they come.
Pick the right kind
The kind of table decides where guests find you on Home. Pick the closest fit.
Bring everyone in
Making room for first-timers matters more than going deep.
Describe it truthfully
Topic, time, place and price should all be accurate, and run the table as promised.
Host well,
move up
Everyone starts as a New host. Based on the tables you've hosted and the ratings you've had in the last 180 days, you move up to Rising, Top and Super host. Your tier shows on your tables.
About hosting
Can I set the price and seats?
No. Time, length, seats and price per seat all come from the restaurant's slot and are filled in for you. Your part is the topic and the night.
Why are some slots greyed out?
Those slots are for higher-tier hosts and say so, for example Top host and up. Host more tables and earn good ratings to unlock them.
Can I host at a restaurant that isn't on DaYou?
Not at the moment. Tables can only be set at partner restaurants that have opened slots on DaYou.
Can I change a table after submitting it?
While it's in review you can withdraw it, edit and resubmit. Once it's live it can't be edited, but you can cancel it.
What happens if I cancel a table?
Guests' bookings are cancelled. Hosts who cancel or change tables repeatedly without good reason may have hosting restricted.
My application wasn't approved. What now?
You can apply again with more detail.
